Franklin will join the first rush of melee while his two henchhobbits hang back for mop-up duty.

Maloof is inwardly shocked at the suicidal lack of tactics displayed by his companions. He hides just outside the doorway to the side, ready to backstab any beetle-man who attempts to exit the room to feed on Phillippe or Edgar.

Aldbane too is shocked to see the rush into the room, but will follow the others in, hammer in hand.

Nailus has Sleep, Color Spray, Wand of Fire, Wand of Ice and who knows what else. I will try to poke him to visit the forum

Naill will cast sleep as that is the spell memorized.

Nailus casts Sleep, and one of the monsters topple over. The party rushes over and hacks away at the two closest monsters, doing some damage to each one. The monsters were slow to react, but now they are in the fray

Biff and Aldbane have wounded one monster, Rhod and Franklin have wounded another. I assume they will keep fighting.

What do Maloof and Nailus do?

Maloof remains guarding the doorway against the beetle-men fleeing out (from his position hiding to the side, ready to backstab).
