Maloof joins Aldbane.

Are Rhod and Grampus marching down with them, or are the clerics leading the way?

Yeah, we'll join them. But I still want to check out that cage later.

The cage is in the room, so you should get your wish. I'm just trying to find out if Rhod and Grampus are in front, or if the two clerics lead the way

The front two ranks of the party proceed to the room, Wiglaff and the rest staying at the intersection. Despite their precautions and best efforts, they do not see three spiders hidden in the webs that drop on them! However, the spiders completely miss Grampus and Aldbane and land on the floor beside them. The third spider lands on Rhod's shoulder but does not manage to bite him.

The spiders are the same size as in the last room

Aldbane attempts to squish the spider that attacked him with his hammer!

Maloof unlimbers his mace and begins smashing carapaces (if he can do so without danger of crushing an ally; by preference he will attack Aldbane's foe).

Grampus stabs the spider next to him with his sword.

If it's on Rhod where he can't swing his sword at it, he'll punch it. Hard.

If he can swing his sword at it, he'll do that.

If he can't do either of those for some reason, it's a straight charge into a wall, with the spider between me and the wall.
