Urist uses his knowledge gained in searching the room to figure out a good strategic choke point where the party can defend against the possible arrival of goblin reinforcements.

ooc: So it sounds like you want to make a stand in this cave? Is that correct. Ot are you all waiting for more info?

Overview: 1 goblin ran deeper into the cave complex, from the noise it sounds like other goblins are now alerted. What happens next you can only guess.

OOC: I believe the party decided to find a spot to make a stand and see if the goblins send an attack group our way.

Seeing that the party may be swarmed by goblins, Alrik prepares color spray.

"Wait to charge if you see me start my enchantment!" Alrik warns.

Urist proposes that we rally in the room and create a defensive formation (with him on the front line, naturally) that can neutralize the goblins' advantage in numbers by forcing them to charge us one or two at a time down the narrow corridor.

If there is no goblin counterattack then we can move forward in battle formation, confident we have a defensible fallback position in case we are pushed back and have to withdraw.

Phadian

"Agree, lets get away from this room now that we are together again"

OOC - did I get some time to quickly clean and bind Hagwen's wound.

Hagwen

The Hag agrees with the plan to fall back, taking up a position behind Urist, so she can shoot over his head if the goblins charge.

She will happily accept Phadian's ffer to tend her wounds if no immediate attack appears to be forthcoming.

The party moves up to the split leading into the cavern so as to have a path of retreat. Phadian starts to look at Hagwen's wound but before long a group of goblins comes from the north.

Round 1 on the defense starts now.....

Rhegaer the Red

Rhegaer attempts to gut the first goblin that comes near him with his spear.

"Shield your eyes!" Alrik yells as he moves forward and to the right (near Rhegaer), to get a better view of the oncoming goblins. He casts color spray on the first group of goblins he can see.
