Dieter, Olaf, Thorgrim and Andaros are the strongest of the company, and with the coin distributed evenly, the four of them can lug the two chests, two apiece.

Having hefted these great loads, others will have to open doors, bear torches and scout the way ahead....

Who opens the double door?

"Everyone quiet a moment... weapons ready!" whispers Highbough as he presses his ear to the door and listens carefully.

If he hears nothing suspicious, he will raise the hood of his Cloak of Elemental Night and open the door...

Satisfied, the old Elf raises the hood of his inky black cloak and then vanishes from sight entirely! Others among the company gasp at this, and then again when, by some sorcerous force, the bar of the door rises in the air and sets itself aside, and then the door creaks open!

"What sorcery is this?" demands Thorgrim, his eyes searching the gloom for the missing Elf. Even Olaf -- whose young eyes are unusually sharp -- cannot make out any trace of Highbough.

As the door creaks open, those nearest the portal spy the dark, empty ante-chamber beyond. The Ogres' cook pot seems to have been knocked over during the night, and its awful contents rifled through by rodents and... others...

All is cool, dark and quiet.

Who shall carry a light into the darkness?

Olaf will help with the other, and he'll be setting it down rapidly if a fight breaks out, too.

Might be best to put Dieter near the front and Olaf near the back so one of the 2nd level fighters will be involved if that big Ogre is out there.

Yeah, good idea.
