OK, what is the killing plan?

Missile-fire! Maloof hurls one of his daggers.

Rhod will fire an arrow at it, but be ready to follow that up with melee.

Aldbane will standby, watching the exits while the melee goes on.

Arrows rip into the beetle, staggering it, but not killing it. Maddened, and distracted from its food, it charges the group, to be met by Aldbane standing ready with his hammer. The beetle can not get past Aldvbane's magic armor, and then he delivers the killing blow with a silver hammer coming down upon its head.

Maloof retrieves his dagger, and then moves to listen at the south door. If he hears nothing, he will open it.
