Ulric crowds up behind the others casting the yellow light of his lantern into the room, and causing their shadows to jangle unnervingly across the space.
Therein is a cool infirmary. Or is it a torture chamber? What once probably once white and sterile has been requisitioned for a more... perverse function. The walls are shelved with specimen bottles and phials, and a litany of medical samples. However, the central part of the chamber is dominated by an examination slab, upon which is a person. Or rather, a body in a very unfortunate state...

A growl of revulsion and outrage rises in Josiane's throat at the sight of this latest violation.
If she is able she will move to the door to examine the room for anything that looks like it may still be of use in healing, though she will not enter until those more experienced in such matters have swept the room for traps.

"What sort of creatures took hold of this place?" Ulric says looking at the scene in shock.
Ulric carefully shines his lantern around the room looking for any signs of anything lurking in the shadows. He then does the same looking for any other doors or open passages leading out of the chamber.
"There may be some items of use in there," Ulric says, "and we may learn more about these demons if we can determine what they were trying to learn from that cadaver."
While he is anxious to inspect the room, Ulric waits for those with weapons and armor to enter before he does.

Gustave, on noting the 'perfume' emanating from the room to be very much estranged to that of a good vintage, joins Dorgan outside on guard.
"No wine then", he mutters to the dwarf, pursing his lips, "ah...what I would give for a good cigar right now eh?"
