Aside from the disconcerting sounds of the night's wolves, the remainder of the watch passes without incident, and Olaf wakes Rufus and Dorgan to take the third watch.
By this stage the night is dark and chilly, but at least the wolves seem to have taken their business elsewhere. Everyone else is sleeping fitfully, and watch passes uneventfully.
At last the first pale grey light a dawn begins to tint the horizon...
