OOC:: I believe that Josiane intends to scale down the single 60' rope that Armando is already on. Torben is anchoring it in place and Beringar is helping secure the same rope.

'Ulric,' he says through gritted teeth as Josaine begins her descent, 'Olaf has another length of rope in his pack. Tie it to mine and let's get this done!'

Olaf tosses the rope from his pack to Ulric, "Tie it to this end and we'll let it out as Joss descends. I'll follow her if you think my sword is needed down there!"

Olaf will scan the room looking for something to tie the rope to before he steps forward. He'd like to make it secure without Torben having to belay it up here. Either way, though, he does intend to go down the chute after Jos.

OOC: School is starting back up and I'm swamped with lesson planning and first week of school things. I'll post as I can, but it won't be regular or often this week.

"Wolf head, wolf men, I think you are right old one, whatever lies down here we have certainly disturbed them. Let's look a little father while the others find a means of decending." Wen continues on the lookout with Highbough, a silver arrow ready, he seems to have forgotten to return it to Olaf.

Yes, just to confirm: Josiane is descending the rope Armando has already climbed down. It looks stout, two burly warriors are holding it, her friends below need help and she's done waiting.

And somewhere within her, something is beginning to stir...

Can Josiane see the point where the chute turns to the right? If she can, how close is she to it?

There is grunting and straining and swearing between them as they grimly hang on...

Olaf has tossed a coil of rope to Ulric and is looking about for a place to tie off the rope that Torben and Beringer are belaying. If he doesn't see anything, he'll grab hold of the rope and try to help hold it, but if he can tie the rope off, he'll do that!

Highbough senses urgency in his friends' actions. "Wen, I don't see or hear anything around the corner. I am going to help the others with the rope."
