The party is enthusiastic, but seems to get in each other's way, and nobody lands a blow. The dragon's head swivels towards Rhod and breathes out a line of acid, lightly searing him

Maloof continues fleeing until he is around the corner of the doorway to the south and out of the dragon's sight.

The attacks are bouncing off tough skin, but Franklin's magic sword finally penetrates and gives a solid wound. The dragon turns on Franklin and chomps him on a furry toe!

The party keeps up the pressure. Nobody is sure if Rhod or Aldbane landed the killing blow, but the baby dragon is dead
