Wiglaff motions for his Elfs to stay behind. Alone, he creeps north up to the corner & looks to the west carefully (he's concerned that Tim and his faction might be nearby).

That wall is also 50 feet, with a door in the southern 20' section

The halflings are holding back as well. They can cover Wiglaff's retreat with arrow fire if he gets in trouble.

In case it wasn't clear, there are no nasty surprises in the north room

Okay, here's what we've got. Let's try the door between the north and south sections of the room. I've put an @ in green next to it.

Maloof taps his foot impatiently waiting for Rhod or Wiglaff to Detect Magic, but since they have failed to do so he is ready to proceed onwards as suggested by Wiglaff.

He moves north and listens at the side door.

After the investigation of the western door Wiglaff now intends to come back to this main room & detect magic the workbench.

The ceiling of this room is an arching dome with hundreds of tiny round openings in it, apparently air vents or perhaps speaking tubes. Faint whispers can be heard as you pass, but they are so garbled together that it's impossible to make out what any are saying. It has a bed in it - probably either Fred or Bob slept here. The room is 30' square with no visible exits
