There are just a few scribbles on it

• The red bull has a secret
• The password is "Poseidon"
• Time travel is possible
• Some furniture is not what it seems
• in a hurry, take the express

Maloof doesn't take any books, but he looks through Treatise of the Heavens while Wiglaff reads the scroll.

It seems to be a book that focuses on the different stars, planets, and constellations, and hw to use their lining up for various summonings and conjurations

"Some furniture is not what it seems?" Rhod asks, puzzled.

Then he raises his sword and concentrates again: *See Invisible Objects*.

Because it was way back in 2016 that you were exploring level one, I want to refresh some memories. Normally, in real life this would all happen in a month or so. If you look at Level 1 Map acodispo put together, room 19 talks about weird furniture. So these are probably notes about other places in the dungeon - they were left as a nice bonus for the players if they discovered them early in their journey.
No invisible objects are detected.

Wiglaff replaces the scroll carefully where it came from.

"We have a decision to make, friends! We're probably in the dungeon area of Pres the Imposing. Should we try the final door to the west, at the risk of angering that personage? Or head back & maybe clear out some rodents? Or, continue with our original plan of en-lightening the dark room down the hall?"

"Let's not risk angering Pres. I say we continue with our original plan to cast light into the darkened room," Aldbane says.

Maloof also replaces the book after his examination.

"I admit to curiosity as to what's behind the other door! But there is also the possibility that Pres has left a trap or guardian if it hides something valuable. If we all decide to move on, I will not object."

"Sure, we can move on," says Rhod.

"Let's light up the dark room!" agrees Franklin.
