anything in the room other than the lizard & the straw?
what colour is the lizard?
any signs of levels or other apparatus on the inside of the room?

There is a closed door halfway up the east wall
No other details in teh room
The lizard is black
You don't see any apparatus, but some could be on teh near wall where you can't see

"Could it be a baby dragon?" Maloof muses quietly. "If so, I wonder where its mother is? Or it could be another hybrid creation, such as the snake-thing we fought."

Franklin whispers dubiously, "Maybe if we surprise it with missile fire, we can kill it before it has a chance to breathe on us?"

Having returned to the group & whispered the contents of the room, Wiglaff weighs in.

"I'm normally content to let sleeping lizards lie. It seems to be well contained. Perhaps a little more scouting before we kill it out of hand?'

If it matters, it looks like the snake/worm thing might have been dragged into this room

Is this the same thing we fought in the great hall? If unclear, how is it different from that thing (I got the impression that thing was a lot bigger)?

No, it is not. But perhaps somebody fed it to this beast, which could be why it is in a deep slumber
