"Best to take a short rest and bind your wounds before we move along," Freid says, "I'll stand watch."
waysoftheearth wrote:A rest will get you 1-6 hp back. It also requires a full turn.
If anyone is going to rest, they need to do so before moving on else the opportunity to recoup hp after this battle is lost.

Leudigar takes that opportunity to count the coins.
He checks to see if the ring firs his hand, rather than carry it in his purse.

Well if I'm reading it right I'm at 2/6 after the combat so as long as I do not get left alone in the room Zem will rest here, drink some water and wrap a cloth around a wound

Does the room behind the wall dead end or are there exits leading from it?

Don't go too far away! Let's get some healing in before we flush out another covey of Hobgoblins.

Agreed! Dopey is in dire need of a rest to recover lost hits. He is checking the lay of the land to ascertain whether it would be prudent to retreat, or perhaps move up on tip of the wall before resting.

There is an open arch way at the far side of the room leading deeper into the warren; presumably from whence these goblins did come. Notably, there is a 3ft tall steel lever just inside the arch--searching his recent memory, Dopey realises that the giant hairy goblin must have pulled it just before the wall collapsed.
The company take a moment to ease their various hurts and re-order their disheveled packs and possessions while Fried maintains a watch and Leudigar counts the goblin coin and sizes the head-goblin's ring. The coin purses are fat, and all told there are 24 sp and 96 cp; quite a little haul. As to the ring; it appear rather too broad for Leudigar's own man-sized mit, although he might wear it over a thick glove of gauntlet.
The ref dices for goblin purses: 6 # d6 + 1 → [7, 2, 5, 4, 7, 6] and the bugbear's purse: 1 # 3d6 → [9], so a total of 40 sp. What proportion are silver? d6 → 6, so 60%. So 24 sp and 96 cp.
The ref dices for rest and recovery:
Dopey, Ogre-Zem, 2 # d6 → [3, 2] so, Dopey regains 3 hp, and Zem regains 2 hp. Please update your character sheets.
The ref dice for wandering monsters:
d6 → 6. Arrrgh!

Please do not post further actions in character until I determine the nature of the next encounter. You may still post out of character, of course

Arian will take the opportunity of the lull in the fighting to tend her wounds. She also casts an eye around for any spare shields the hobgoblins may have dropped.

My apologies Docx, I overlooked Arian's need to rest. She does so along with the others...
1 # d6 → [6], and she regains the full 6 hp
