After satisfied that there is nothing of interest on the walls, Pelenwin rejoins the group. "Everything looks clear down here. Someone grab the rope, cause I'm coming up."

At the Gatehouse

Highbough next attempts the rope.

(1d6=6!)

The old Elf is sinuously strong for his age, and competently scales the wall. As he is half way up Desmond blows a long blast on his silent whistle... which only he and Highbough can almost (but not quite) hear.

...the ultra shrill note seems not to attract anyone's attention, and Highbough completes his ascent -- assisted over the battlements by Dieter's strong arm.

Pelenwin then makes to start his climb...

At the Campsite

Wibert, Nidhogg and Koch back their gear and make their farewells to Boris and Victor.

Then, with the pale sun now properly risen behind the blotchy cloud cover, they set off for the gatehouse...

Olaf, waiting with the others below, waits for the signal from above then waves his arm and leads the group through the gate.

Once inside, Olaf will looks around quickly for dangers and say to the others, "Don't bunch up and sing out if you see danger!"

Gustave watches Olaf ascend the rope. Spell? he ponders, rubbing his chin. No, i think not my dear Olaf, he decides, reminiscing to himself over fine conversation and warm feet.

"So is there some wisdom to these manoevres?", he enquires of the group perched on the wall, "or is this just a climbing party?", manufacturing a broad grin despite the continued throbbing in his head.

Mads the Fair

Mads makes his way through the gate along with Olaf, axe drawn and moving with purpose. "To the courtyard, I presume?"

Gustave's head is bleary indeed. It is Pelenwin who has started ascending the rope. Olaf is about to stride through the gate arch into the courtyard...

If Gustave has mistaken Olaf for Pelenwin, his head is bleary indeed!

OOC: I feel like Olaf is walking into a trap, but sooner or later, somebody is going to walk through that door. For better or for (probably) worse, impatient, Olaf is that guy. "Follow me boys! Over the top!"

Gustave watches Olaf enter the keep, but he is also on the wall? no, who is this guy? He shakes his head to clear it but only causes himself more pain. Ah, for another draught of that fine wine right now, he ponders, then wobbles after the others through the gate.
