Hmm? The way I recall it, Wibert was unhappily cooking meals for Saxxon's gang of knaves in the opposite gatehouse. When Deggerhund the Ogre came knocking and, all furious, told of an opportunity to ambush these surly "adventurers" and take their stuff, Wibert tagged along with the rest of Saxxon's Men.

When the PCs exited the Ogres' gatehouse via the ravine door, Saxxon's Men attacked, killing Padrig (your previous PC) in the process. Only then did Wibert emerge from the shadows to join the company.

So, Wibert has never been in the Ogres' gatehouse before now...

The only generous pile of hardware (ropes, torches, spikes, oil etc.) which I recall the company leaving behind was actually in an entirely different dungeon waaaay back in June 2010 when the company included Crystin (the PC you had before you had Padrig)!
