Fried leads the way back toward the barracks, and it doesn't take long to break into the 100ft long chamber with rows and rows of bunks hews into the rough walls. The place smells like a foul locker-room.

There is an exit almost immediately left and right after Fried enters the room; and another one at the faaaar end of the room, flanked by two guttering torches. By whatever luck, the entire place seem abandoned. Who know where all the orcses have gotten to...?
monster check 1d6=? (4) We officially have a long series of no 6s now folks...

What next?

"Look around carefully before we exit," Karl cautions. "It wouldn't do to come this far unhindered and then walk straight into a returning group of raiders."

"Where is the exit? The far end?" Leudigar asks, trying to keep the panic from his voice. He knows the group is hurting, hungry, and moving slowly. He'd hate to have to give up all that they've gathered up so close to being back out in the wilderness...

Zem pauses to breath for a moment. "Onward and outward while our luck holds, let get this foul room behind us."
Far exit from the barracks and then I think we will face a intersection which we want the right hand passage and then it's the BleakMass Tree room.

All this talk is making you thirsty... you could probably use a rest shortly too. How long since we struck off the last torch?

Probably quite a while. We're not moving terribly fast at the moment.

Zem will offer up the unlit torch he has ready while the group pauses in the barracks and catches a breath.

Leudigar finds a spot near the far entrance (the way they are heading), off to the side, and sits down to rest a bit. He takes some rations and a bit of his remaining water, but keeps his sword drawn and at his side...

Okay, a turn of rest ensues. Monster check 1d6=2, so no fatal ambush.

Hell, why don't we say everyone adds 1 hp? Please update your character sheets all.

So, that brings Karl up to 1, right? He was at 1/2.
