Karl follows along, still keeping an eye on our back trail.

Fried notes there doesn't seem to be any light coming from the kitchen before he cautiously pushes his way through the swinging door.
The kitchen is cold and silent; as if no one were ever here at all.
The kitchen hearth is immediately to Fried's left. Beyond that, there is a door into the pantry on the right, and a step up to another door opposite the pantry, which exits to the left. Fried gets an eerie feeling as he looks over the room... he doesn't like it one bit.

"No friendly faces." Freid says in a whisper, "Let's keep moving."
He asks, still whispering,"Out through the pantry?"

Leudigar nods in agreement, wanting to be out of the place as quickly as possible at this point...

Freid moves across the kitchen and into the pantry.

The pantry is as you recall it; looted, empty shelving... the door opposite leads back to the passage where the party fought a mob of skeletons; that seems ages ago....

At this point it would be good for us to review the previous threads and then make our best guess. The issue was a quick movement turned off mapping descriptions for a period in the Gnome thread. In the hobbit thread we found the trap room fought the bugbear and then retreat until we ran back into the party and had the fight with the skeletons. Somewhere between the 2 threads we should be able to find our way to the 100ft Barracks room and from there back to the Bleakmass tree.

Leudigar points at the only way and shrugs, "Let's keep moving. We're on the right track..."
As long as there is only one choice, let's take it and keep moving...

"Right, let's keep moving!"
IIRC, and I could well be wrong, but exiting the pantry door we need to turn right, but I'm fuzzy on where to go after that.
