Tafari will continue to creep down the ladder and onward through the mine keeping as mindful of her surroundings as possible.

Oh dear, more running...
"No, he's over there!" Jan Then tries to leap over the snorks and run for the first ladder, up or down, that he can see.

Jan points and shouts, momentarily distracting the goblins as he leaps out of the bucket. They lurch back to snatch at him over their heads, but too late! Theirs mitts only grasp moving air as the boy swishes by, and hits the ground running.
Directly ahead Jan sees a ladder that climbs up and down, and makes for it with all speed. His feet rattle upon the dubious platform, as behind him the goblins turn to pursue.
Hidden in shadow on the ladder, Tafari curses as she see all this commotion, and slides down the remainder of the way to the gantry below, landing quietly. A quick glimpse about reveals a narrow catwalk that hugs the rugged face of the cave wall. It's mostly dark, so presumably unused? Beneath the goblins the catwalk only extends 20ft or so, but the other way it seems to snake along the wall as far as she can see... 20ft further on, another ladder climbs down. What now?
Jan hasn't seen her as he reaches the ladder... the goblins are only a dozen steps behind him. Up or down?

Tafari sees the boy barreling to the ladder she recently used, pursued by the three goblins. He's heading down right after her! What to do?

Tafari moves quickly down the catwalk trying to stay ahead of the boy until she finds an opening or an outcropping in which she can get out of his way and the likely pursuers.

Tafari takes a few swift paces along the gantry, seeing few features worthy of being called "cover". She opts to press herself hard against the rocky wall in the lee of a slight outcropping in the hope that the boy and his pursuit might pass her by...
{1d6=5!}
Jan hits the floor running, and doesn't stop. His green light bobs as he goes, casting lurching shadows all about him, but he hasn't got time to admire them, there are three crazed Goblins in pursuit!
Fortunately, they seem to obstruct one another getting down the ladder, yelling and cursing as they go, and by the time they've reached the gantry, Jan already has a 60ft lead on them, and is rounding a gentle curve. Ahead he spies ladders up and down, and beyond those a dark opening into the rock face! Out in the dark void to his left there are also dangling chains...
Tafari holds her breath as the boy runs by, and then again as the three Goblins approach her position. They give no indication of having seen her (she reckons that she could barge one or two of them over the edge as they pass her...).
What next?

Jan sticking with what worked last time shoots down the ladder and makes a mental note to get better shoes.
