"These animal befriending potions are great, Potty! I don't suppose you could brew something up that would help us to find traps, pits & things that might be in our way?"
Detect Snares & Pits would certainly come in handy!

Potty agrees that detect snares & pits is a good suggestion for his next potion. He will take Willie's recommendation under advisement.
Meanwhile at the River...
It is well after dark now, and the snowy streets of Hornpipe are deserted. Our heroes return without incident to the pancake house on the hill.
What do we think? A good night's sleep and breakfast, before the next delve?

I think a late snack, then sleep, then breakfast. Some things are important!

Bilfur would have came along for the walk and then heads back for pancakes. He does ask, " so what did you drop in the river. Was that a ritual, an urn. Do I need to say a few words?"

Kiplyn would start to answer Bilfur. "No nothing like that it was a, well um, this thing that um, hmm. It's kind of a long story let's just say it was something that was born to bring trouble so we put it beyond reach."

OOC: I'm back! I spontaneously decided to spend an extra couple of days at the cabin. Update incoming...

@dtspurrier, if you have a minute, can you please take a quick look at Bilfur's stats and inventory, on the Google Sheets, just to make sure I copied and pasted everything correctly?

His high strength gives him 12" movement, very nice!

January 3
The day is windy, overcast, and cold. There was no new snowfall overnight, but the wind has rearranged the existing snow into new drifts, and the town looks like a totally different landscape than yesterday.
Willie and
Wilbur awaken to find out, their wounds are fully healed!
After a large pancake breakfast,
Frederick takes the returning heroes aside and whispers,
"What do you think of this new guy? Should we let him in the Club? Will one of you please read him The Rules?"
OOC: Is 'heal on level up' too cheesy?
I want to keep the story moving along, get you guys back in the dungeon.
I've restocked all your rations to a full week (2 weeks for Wilbur) free of charge. Any other equipment purchases or swaps before we do it to it?
Any thoughts which area of the Dungeon you would like to return to, so I can prep?

For the group - So besides the area near 10/11 what else is there? We can go deeper, I forget what the areas like 14 and 29 lead off too... Anyone have any preferences?
