Beneath one of the husks on the floor you see a decent amount of silver and a handful of gold coins, plus a long word sword that gleams with a faint yellow light

I assume you mean a long sword? (Not that a long word wouldn't be cool...)

If nobody else goes for it, Rhod will pick up the sword.

Aldbane will help collect the coins before we move on.

There are a total of 300 silver coins, and 40 gold coins

While waiting for Rhod's reply, Wiglaff will take a turn around the perimeter of the room, curious if his Elf Senses will pick up the presence of any secret doors. He pokes the webs aside here & there with his axe.

"It is, it is." Rhod concentrates, letting the sword inform him of its abilities.

Then a big smile comes across his face.

"Really?" he says. And then he concentrates and uses the sword to See Invisible Objects.

After a long concentration, Rhod is disappointed to find no invisible objects in the room

Wiglaff finds nothing else of interest

Grampus checks the spiders bodies to see if one was pregnant and there are any baby spiders young enough to be trained to work with the group on their quest.
