Now that Dieter thinks on it, that is exactly what this area looks like. A backstage wing... which would make those strangely shaped stands of timbers props, and the lit area out there would be... a stage.

There is no movement to be seen, and the only sound is a low fizzing which seems to be coming from the theater itself. There is a fiercely horrid, chemical stench in the room, however. It gives even Dieter Ogre Slayer a moment's pause...

"I'd prefer not to start setting fires just yet. Who knows what effect it may have one surface. Besides, we might destroy some nice treasures in the process."

Ulric pauses before heading back down the stairs.

"Whoever ran up here went somewhere, and I doubt it was in there." Ulric points toward the wall of curtains. "The walls here are covered in curtains. Let's see what's behind them."

Ulric starts to work his way around the curtain-covered walls, pulling them open with his sword.
