Aldbane assists with the search, wondering what the Orcs were digging up.

The room is 50' wide, centered on the north door, and 30 feet deep. There is a passage leading south in the section of wall 20' from the west. The passage goes 10', then turns east at the 20' section. This room is very muddy. There are several shovels and buckets in the mud.

You know who loves muddy holes in the ground? Sconces. Franklin sends his dog in for a sniff. Maybe he can find what the orcs were looking for.

You are a bit baffled. None of the holes are more than a few feet deep, as they soon hit rock. Sconces does not find anything

"Welp, too bad none of them are left alive to tell us what they were up to!" Maloof exclaims. He has been careful not to get too much mud on his stylish (as gnomes understand style) curl-toed boots. He moves to the southern passage and heads down it far enough to peep around the corner.

Franklin gives Sconces a treat and calls him good boy, even though he didn't find anything. Franklin keeps an eye on Maloof and covers him with his sling.

The corridor leads 10 feet to an open door. The door looks into a 30x50 room with pillars down the center Bones litter the floor - it is probably where the giant scorpion cane from. In the center of the south wall are stairs leading down

The new room that Maloof is looking into, is it by any chance Room 12 as marked below? If so, the two halves we've mapped of level 3 are just a few squares off from lining up.

I think we should try to fill in the other gaps between the two sections. So that would be through room 12 and then north, or back to the snake room and then east. My vote would be for the snake room, since we were just there recently whereas the other direction may have new inhabitants.
