Leudigar follows Freid into the room, lighting the room with his torch.

Freid stops and looks around, if he doesn't perceive any danger he'll continue on to the corridor.

Fried doesn't hear anything else that gives him pause, so enters the room followed closely by Leudigar. The room is exactly as they remember it... slain monks like scattered about like so many fallen leaves, their coarse robes in tatters and spoiled by their own blood. It is a grim sight indeed.

There are two closed doors leading out of this place. One is more or less opposite the secret portal. The other is on the wall to Fried's left.

What orders for the next turn?

(One would hope) the smallish body of Wetzel lies there still, pulled to one side & covered discreetly by a monk's cloak.

Leudigar says, "Out of here is through that door opposite the secret passage, left, then right at the intersection. That should take us back to the hydra room."

"Have we even looked in the door to the left?" Freid asks,"I honestly don't think we should. We are carrying as much treasure as we can and we're all about dead right now. I'd rather not run into any more of these monstrous creatures."

"But be sure to close that secret door and make it look like we haven't trooped through it." Freid says, "Maybe pull a body across our back trail near the door?"

"Oh, and do we leave Wetzel here or try to hide his body in the secret passage? What do you think?"

Zem closes the secret door and does his best to cover the tracks. "Best keep going, we did all we could for the fallen now we owe it to them not join them"

Zem pulls the secret door closed with a quiet shhick, then hauls a broken body across it to obscure any tracks in the dust. Meanwhile Leudigar and Fried discuss directions...

"Right, that's the direction we'll go then." Freid says,"Remember I was at the back the line all the way, so I'm not going to be much help getting us back out. I'll need your help with directions."

Once the secret door is closed and we're ready, Freid opens the door peeks out into the corridor and then heads left, pausing at the intersection to listen and look, before turning right back toward the hydra room.

Fried opens the door opposite the secret tunnel, just enough to peek out.

He sees a passage that runs both to the left and the right. Almost directly opposite there is another door. To the right, the passage runs about 30ft to a stair that descends into darkness. To the left, the passage runs about 30ft to a T intersection. All is quiet, so Fried turns left and proceeds to the T intersection.

From the intersection there are passage to his left and right.

To his left Freid sees a long, dark passage; about 30ft along it there is a door to the left, then further along there is a passage to the right, and yet further along he dimly sees a right turn.

To his right Freid sees a long, dark passage; about 40ft along it there is a door to the right, then further along he dimly sees a left turn.
