"Friggin' friggin' frig!" curses Mondes...

| Bugger. Was hoping that might have changed... |

Desmond has been sitting in the hallway, pondering what might bring back their sight. Finally, he gets an idea and says, "Gustave, if you don't mind... Would you be so kind as to lead us back to the fountain and place the silver bowl back into place for a moment?"

If The Gustave complies, then Desmond will rinse his eyes with water from the silver bowl to see if that does anything to restore his sight.

Since he doesn't feel like he can help at all either upstairs or in the chamber of blinding, Dieter will maintain a position on the stairs, below the trapped one, keeping an eye and ear out for anything approaching from below.

Anyone who needs him has but to shout.

After his second drink, Olaf is all in favor of resting for a bit. :)

"Thank'ee Drogan." with a hiccup, Olaf slurs out, "Stuff grows on ya', but better not take another drink, or I'll fall flat on me face...hee, hee!"

"Anybody else, suddenly sleepy, all of a sudden?" Olaf asks as he weaves in place on his feet, "Could use a sit down or lie down or a drink'a water....

"Wwhoop!" Olaf adds as he hiccups again, "Snory, bout tat. Sum'thun gots me hicking uping. Hee, hee!"

"My dear hobbit, it seems your twinned noggin's are working harmoniously despite your maladay - it would be my pleasure of course!", replies Gustave, and with this he leads Desmond/Mondes and Rufus back to the fountain.

"Gee thanks Gustave for the help. Desmond I really hope this idea of yours works. I hate been so useless", says Rufus.

Armando stoops to examine the lockbox closely, but without touching it yet.

As Desmond/Mondes, Rufus and Gustave begin to make their way back towards the outer chamber, they encounter Josiane coming down, (deftly avoiding the trapped step).

"A light, please," she asks as she kneels by the blinded hobbits, her face a picture of concern.

If a light is forthcoming she will shine it in the hobbit's eyes, looking for any reaction in their sightless pupils.

"What exactly did you do?" she asks them, trying not to sound too condemnatory...

Desmond sighs, "We WALKED into a ROOM is all! Honest!"

After a moment's pause, Mondes adds, "It war a seeekret room, tho."

And Desmond finishes with a shrug, "Apparently it was warded... The Gustave made it in OK, but it sounded like he got shocked by a staff... just before he kicked it across the room."
