Olaf calls out, "Wibert! Where are you?"

"We need to go now!" Olaf looks for where Wibert and Pel may be, but he won't stay long as he feels the need to get back to Dieter's side and help him whack zombies. He also thinks this a very good time to get out of here
....while we're all still alive!

"They were scouting ahead down this passage," Ulric says pointing to the passage. "I followed it to a chamber at the other end. Perhaps they are there exploring or fell to some other foul beast? We should move quickly and find out."

Dieter keeps hacking at the foe, giving ground when he must. He's the only chance his allies have.

But right at this moment, he really misses his shield.

Even in the near dark?

The Second Vault
(Olaf, Ulric, Desmond/Mondes)

Ulric casts his lantern light about the vault, and Mondes gives a nervous snort,

"There's no Halfling nor templar here!" he observes sourly.

Olaf cries out to the pair, and only a moment later there comes in reply, it seems, a muffled but terrible scream from a passage to the right. That mostly surely could not have been either of Wibert or Pelenwin... but what ever it was, it came from behind the thick stone door that now seals one of the passageways to the right (the one which Ulric did not enter previously).

What now?

Desmond quickly runs to examine the door and see if there is any way of opening it...

Olaf whirls toward the closed stone door, "Do you think they got themselves walled off in there?"

"Arr!" Olaf says in frustration, "We need more light, but not the scepter, I think."

He tucks the scepter into his belt and fishes his lantern filled with oil from his backpack and lights it, "Ulric, can you and Desmond deal with this while I go back to help Dieter with the undead, or do you want me to stay here?"

Passage into the first Vault
(Guntram, Highbough, Dorgan, Josiane, Gustave)

Highbough takes up position behind Guntrum, while Dorgan fetches himself a torch from Josiane -- who scarcely notices as she continues to hum her beautiful mantra.

However... the monster ahead seems to have completely vanished into the dark. Perhaps the fiend is repelled by Josiane's song?
