Okay, I'm lost again.
Any chance we can get a "current map" thread? That way, the directionally impaired among us can find the map and know where we are at any given time.
Thanks!

Gentlemen,
You may already have noticed that I have been preparing to start another PBP game on these boards.
While Hinterlands is an open "sandbox" game where you can (and do) explore wherever you please, Moria is intended to be more a dungeon oriented experience.
Be assumed that I intend to continue with Hinterlands for the foreseeable future, and still consider Hinterlands to be my "main" game.
See you all in game

Great I was worried you were intending to close down the Hinterlands. I've been really enjoying this game.

A lucky plunging arrow is what killed King Harold and broke the Saxons, so maybe Olaf will get just as lucky here.

There is some contention around the story of Harold and the Arrow, see
http://www.dot-domesday.me.uk/arrow.htmwww.dot-domesday.me.uk/arrow.htm
FYI -- Harold was an English King of the Anglo-Saxons. The Saxons were Germanic peoples (see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saxons)en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saxons) who were not at the battle of Hastings.

Five percent is better than zero percent!
So, we can all sneak out the backdoor, but going that way we won't be able to carry much of anything with us...not easily anyway. Climbing up the chimney and then scaling the ravine wall. Looks like we might have to leave most/all the treasure behind.

You could also exit out the rear (bridge) gate, which is still open.
From there you would have to either climb down the into the ravine (dangerous), or else skirt along the edge of the ravine. In the later case it is very likely that you would be spotted unless you are very careful.
