Yes, but you should also note that you are one down from your original score.

Sorry if that wasn't clear Ehiker...
What I meant to say was:
Yes, you should deduct 1 from your constitution score.
But you should also note that your current score is one less than what your original score was.
So, for example, if your original score was 14, you should now note your score as 13(14).

No, you're just one point down from your original score. Permanently (until something significant happens to undo the damage).
