OOC: I'm assuming you mean Dorgan when you refer to Highbough above.waysoftheearth wrote:The Passage into The First Vault
(Guntram, Dorgan, Highbough, Josiane)
Ahead Guntram and Highbough both feel a knot of ice in the pits of their stomachs as a foe most terrible emerges silently from the dark in the mouth of the passage.
"Ssseeee mmmeeeee at youuurrrr peehhhhrrrriiilllll!" it hisses; the aberration is tall and swathed in tattered black robe and cowl which reveals inhumanly white and withered flesh, long thin arms with long black claws, and a face with feral fangs and terrible black pits of eyes.
Dorgan's knees buckle for a moment at the sight of their new foe but he doesn't move back an inch.
He mumbles "This... is not good."
And more loudly... "GUSTAVE!"
Filling his lungs with icy-cold air, the dwarf is about to roar a challenge and charge when he hears Josiane begin her chanting once again.
He'll instead shove his axe handle into his belt, draw his remaining vial of Holy Water, and (if it approaches despite the Sacrosanct Soliloquy) throw it at the undead wretch.
Should Josiane hold the fell wight off, the dwarf will wait on the attack and hope Gustave can make it back before Josiane runs out of breath.
