"This mess was made by our quiet comrade Guntrum", says Gustave of the remains of the former entry-way, "We should be able to access the courtyard with a bit of climbing", he adds, without explaining, and begins to labour up the rugged slope to the hole in the roof.

"Guntram did this?" exclaims Josiane, wide-eyed in amazement; "Goodness!"
She maintains a careful watch to the rear.

"Yes...its always the quiet ones that you have to keep an eye on", quips Gustave over his shoulder as he (not entirely gracefully) ascends the rubble.

The pile of timber and rubble is, perhaps, 6ft high. Turns out it can be clambered only relatively easily... it is the remains of a 60ft long section of pasage-way wall and the ceiling and roofing tiles that once roofed it.
From the top of the pile one can easily gaze out across the entirity of the abbey's interior space, and therein espy the other half of the company. Ulric, Torban, (normal sized) Guntram, Olaf and Rufus are directly across the gardens. They could be hailed from here.
Dieter could safely use his enchanted ring to leap over the pile and land in the interior gardens. It would certainly save him the bother of a messy climb, and he might be able to attract the others' attention from mid air..?

Never one to shy from an opportunity to hail others, Gustave waves his blade in the air to attract the attention of those in the courtyard, striking a noble pose atop the rubble heap as he does so.
"Ha ha! Well met friends", he calls imperiously, then, turning to those still making the ascent, says 'Come my stout comrades - it seems we will soon be 'whole' again - our estranged companions lie yonder, and apparently unharmed...though it would seem that alas our giant is no longer."
With that he begins the descent to the courtyard.

Dieter will climb, then, since it's a short way. (While he'll use his ring, he doesn't want to advertise it.)
But he'll go last, so the others have a rear guard.

"Why you so chipper?"
"
Chipper?", replies
Gustave with a twinkle in his eye, "
Why my doubly-domed hobbit, can you not smell the wine of journeys end?"
He stoops to offer a hand to help the struggling halfling up the debris and, once they are both poised at the summit, adds "
I think we will soon be done with this ex-nunnery and its posse of possessing demons, and that means being considerably closer to a warm fire and a barrel methinks."
