"Indeed" agrees Gustave, "This was not our doing - perhaps our camp guards have joined us?"

"It is this way", he continues, leading the way onward to Giant Guntrums Path.

Desmond/Mondes follows along, sticking to his place in line, with both heads constantly on the look out for sign of the others and/or danger.

Moving into the lobby, the party concludes that the wolf appears to have suffered a fatal blow to the skull by some unknown, blunt instrument. The rigor has not fully set in, so it must have perished not an hour prior.

From the lobby Gustave and Dorgan, pushing on, note with some dismay that the passageway they wished to use -- that which Gustave previously employed -- appears to be in ruin. Some 30ft or so in, the ceiling and part of the right hand wall appear to have collapsed, and a great pile of ruination blocks the way. Clear daylight can be seen through the gaping holes in the roof however, so it seems plausible that the wreckage might be surmounted...

Desmond looks at the rubble in complete bewilderment.

"What in the gods' names happened here? This twarnt all buggered up like when we first came through, was it??"

Even though there is no additional hint of danger, Desmond and Mondes suddenly become more alert, looking wildly around to see what might have caused such wreckage.

Dorgan will shoulder his shield and hook Mads Cold Iron Axe on his belt.

"Let's get to climbin', people."

The dwarf will pause as he reaches the summit of the rubble and cautiously peek outside.

Wen would eye the ruined corridor with suspicion. "You sure it's safe Dorgan?" Wen would be alert for any signs of further collapse and of course movement from behind.

How big are the gaps in the ceiling and now high is the rubble?

Specifically, can Dieter jump over/beyond the obstacle by using his ring? (Safely?)

It wopuld make things easier if we had a man on the far side. (And I'd take a rope with me to help the others across,so it wouldn't be further splintering the party...)
