Garamon about ready to dash through the “gate” relaxes and shakes his head.

Wraislin arrives at the gate just in time to see the prankster revealed.

He considers for a small moment incinerating the hobbet in a fusillade of magical fire, but opts for a stern look instead.

"Well, now we here now. I suppose there is no point delaying further" he says.

Thanis has a good chuckle and goes back to preparing the camp's defenses.

With Tass's little ruse accomplished, Thanis spends the next hour organising a camp site with whatever help is forthcoming.

Fortunately, firewood is easy to find. Unfortunately, Thanis demands stocking up several additional piles of the stuff in preparation for emergency night lighting. None the less, the task is eventually done. A roughly circular space with the least gnarled ground is selected, with four good piles of wood set at a perimeter perhaps 20ft from a central firepit.

This done, dusk looks to be about a hour away, albeit the sky is already gloomy with chastened clouds. A few moments of intermittent drizzle here and there during the preparations remind the party that the change of season is perhaps nearer than they might prefer.
Okay team. Night is coming...

What plans for the evening thru dawn..?

"What's the plan for dinner?" Flin asks over the sound of his grumbling stomach. "I'd rather starve than have to eat rations for one more night. Surely we can find a deer or something around here to relieve my hunger".

"Let's post watches through the night," Goldwen suggests while pulling some hard tack and a solid wedge of hard cheese from her pack. "I don't think we'll have any time for hunting, Flin. Best tighten that belt if you don't want trail food."
Does anyone have any particular time when they'd like to watch? Goldwen can do whatever watch is needed, but in general we should stick a fighter-type with a non-fighter. I think four watches of two for two hours each? Or do we need more time, WOTE?

"I am good to take any watch," Garamon offers.

Thanis makes sure there are four torches by the main firepit, so they can be grabbed, lit, and thrown into the surrounding fires easily if needed.

I can take one of the middle watches, if others need uninterrupted sleep.

For the sake of expediency, Thanis will be on third watch.

Tass is indifferent to which watch he sits.He does like the camp fire and gets some sticks to play with it. "Have I ever told you the story about the Zombie Deers that live in the Nightwood......" Tass launches into a un-believable story about parasitic bugs that turn Deer into Blood eating Zombies....Eventually he turns in with yawn and a happy little voice saying "Time for bed"

Suggested Watch Order:
1st Watch: Garamon, Wraislin
2nd Watch: Stern, Goldwen
3rd Watch: Thanis, Witherun
4th Watch: Flin, Tass

Please speak up if you want your character to have a different watch. I think the only one who needs to worry about a full night's sleep for spells is Wraislin.
