Alas, Olaf's wisdom is only 8, he hasn't joined the dots yet. All he sees is a terrific cloud of dust roiling forth as a 12ft giant bursts through the opposite wall, sending timbers and stones tumbling in all directions! The monster has a h u g e sword that looks like it could cut Olaf in two, and it's making a beeline for the abbey gate, wherein the priests have already withdrawn.

Olaf stays hidden (or mostly hidden) where he is and lets the giant go lumbering past. He can't see Highbough, but thinks to himself, "Surely the old elf will have enough sense to stay hidden and keep out of the way of this thing!"

Other than that, he's waiting for further events to develop.

" Bad guys, that'a way!" Olaf shouts and points toward the chapel, " Highbough has already gone in. I've been waiting for you to show up."
