I was talking about the rope and grappling hook because we will probably have to go over the wall of the keep. I didn't have the bridge in mind at all. That part confused me, too.coffee wrote:See, that's what it looked like to me. But then people started talking about grappling hooks, etc. (And I really haven't had a chance to use mine, yet...)waysoftheearth wrote:
Sorry if it isn't clear.
There are merely 80 or so yards of open ground between you and the keep. There is no reason what so ever why you couldn't walk right up to the keep.
I just paused the narrative on the approach to give you (the players) an opportunity to throw in any cautionary actions or whatever...

Very cool.waysoftheearth wrote:I finally got to use this (sort of) "charisma score is usable to decide such things as whether or not a witch capturing a player will turn him into a swine or keep him enchanted as a lover." to determine whether Gustave should live.
Fortunate that Gustave has 17 charisma!
Thanks for the heads up Danhem, I'll run Ulric in your absence. Travel safely.danhem wrote:Ways, I'm going to be out of town from March 18-25. I may be able to check in once or twice, otherwise please run Ulric as an NPC.
