Dorgan will quickly grab whatever is close by, in a barrel or flask, and toss/splash/pour it at the ooze.
"Wine, vinegar, oil, something here oughta stop this thing from comin' at me."

Armando follows the others into the secret chamber.
After taking a casual inventory of the room's contents, he addresses his companions: "Gentlemen! I suspect the modesty of these items belies their true nature. Halfling, what have you found in that sack? With any luck we shall find a tome around here somewhere ..."
And with that, Armando leans close to the lockbox and checks it for traps ...

Only Armando, Desmond/Mondes, Rufus and Invisble Highbough remain in the suddenly quiet reliquary, with Gustave still loitering at the door...
Armando has an eye for a certain section of wall, probing it cautiously with deft hands and assessing the stonework with a critical eye... ah, see here? One stone in the corner column will give half an inch if pressed firmly... "Some help, dear hobbits," he requests of Rufus, and while Armando holds the stone depressed, Rufus is able to press the facing wall inward silently, revealing a narrow secret passage...
"A secret door, now this is more like it", says
Rufus smiling.
Rufus will also enter the secret room and search the walls and floor for any traps and concealed compartments.

The Reliquary
Desmond/Mondes casts a cautious quad of eyes across the floor, while Rufus pushes eagerly behind him. Once Desmond/Mondes are satisfied there are no trip wires, the three(?) of them enter the small room almost at once.
There is a harsh white snap of light! Armando and Gustave reflexively shield their eyes from the glare, | saving throws for Desmond and Rufus; d20=4, 10 | but there is no such luxury for the Halflings and the pair of them feel a pang at their hearts and see nothing but white blaze. Their eyes continue to weep for the glare, even after Armando and Gustave see the offending illumination diminish into nothingness almost immediately thereafter.
| Desmond/Mondes and Rufus have been blinded. |

The Infirmary
Wen flicks a dagger at the ooze, and it cuts deeply into its icky volume, causing the thing to jerk a moment d6=6!, before "swallowing" the dagger into itself with a hiss of steam; the dagger is vanished! At the same time Dogan sweeps his arm across a shelf of flasks and flagons, upending the lot of it directly onto/into the path of the ooze; glass vessels smash and clatter and a circus of liquids and other samples splatter violently about the thing, but it seems wholly unperturbed.
The ooze is now fully within the room, occupying much of the space on one side of the examination table. The PCs are forced to either the doorway to the inner infirmary, or else the opposite side of the examination table.

"Oh, sod it all..." Desmond grumbles as he stops in his tracks.
"I can't see a bloody thing, Gustav."
He sighs.
"Let's hope this is temporary..."
| Shouldn't Mondes get his own saving throw?

Dorgan will upend the examination table and use it to "scrape" the ooze away from the exits.
At the very least, it might slow down while trying to digest the entire table.

Has Dieter made it up to the room with the ooze (or slime or whatever) in it yet?

"It doesn't dissolve the stone it flows across, that is why we should beat it with stones and rock. The door is wood, and so is the torch, perhaps it eats them not as well." says Olaf looking around, but staying out of the ooze's way, "Metal, I think it will dissolve."
Olaf is looking about for something to use as a club, or loose rock, to try out his idea. If he finds something he will use it to whack at the ooze.
