Much to the relief of all, the other side of the gully is much as Desmond promised. There is an extensive area of rocks and boulders riddled with tight paths and crawl spaces. Most of these are too small to accommodate the cart, but there are some wider passes between the larger rocks which it will fit through.

It doesn't take too long to find a neat nook between three great slabs of rock which will serve well as a camp site for the night. It is not covered over, but it is more-or-less a space surrounded (approximately) by three rocky walls that vary from 2ft to 6ft high.
