Olaf joins Wen and Dieter atop the wall. He looks around for signs of danger, "If we stay on the roof tops we should be able to make it to the courtyard in front of the chapel. That would be a frontal attack. There is also a broken window around the side that we could try for, but it would be just about as open to attack as the front door and fewer could enter at a time."

"What do you think?"

Highbough joins the others atop the wall. The Elf is magnificent in his Cloak of Elemental Night streaked with werewolf blood. "We have destroyed the enemy's greatest weapon thanks to Wen's ingenuity. Now is the time to strike the death-blow! Spread out across the rooftops and root out our enemy. Remember Gustave and Desmond are still out there, so don't shoot without looking!! I will move clockwise along the wall toward the Chapel where I believe we will find some answers; who's coming with me?"

Very good!

The more eager of spirit scale the (now saw-toothed) wall by rope or by apple tree or by simply getting a "leg up" from those below and clambering into one of the broken pits in the wall.

Once atop the wall it is apparent that the foul mist in the courtyard beyond is now largely dissipated. The blacked abbey can be seen quite clearly; as can the bodies of slain nuns and werewolves.

All seems still and quiet.

What now?

Dorgan will skirt the inside edge of the wall and cautiously approach the building from where the Tar Fiend first emerged.

He's armed with Mads Cold Iron Axe and shield.

Once again atop the wall, Armando recalls the roofed area he covered before. One his companions have no further need of his rope, he draws it up and slips it down over the edge of the roof into the courtyard. He'll then peer over the edge and, if he spies an entrance, descend into the courtyard to investigate. He has his silver dagger to hand, naturally.

After gathering up some courage, Beringar scales the wall. Once there, he'll ready his bow and follow the old Elf. If any target presents itself, it shall be like a pincushion soon enough!

"I am with you," he whispers to Highbough.

Torben

Torben will follow Armando's descent into the courtyard. The wall offers great visibility, but it goes both ways.

Dieter will descend into the courtyard and make his way to Gustave's last known position. From there, he will examine the ground for any tracks that might give him a clue.

But all the while he'll have his sword out and be ready to defend himself (or to attack, as the need should arise).

Wen will stay atop the wall with a silver arrow ready. He will cover those who defend for as long as possible before defending into the courtyard himself.

Olaf descends into the courtyard right after Dieter. He slips his shield off his shoulder and takes the silver dagger in the other hand.

"Usually, a dagger is not as good a weapon as my sword, but against those Werewolves this might be a better choice." Olaf says.

He will cover Dieter's flank and watch for rear attacks as well.
