bilfur is a little concerned that they have not returned and comments, " we done yet, not sure how long these things will hold. " Then Bifur has an idea, he learned when sheep farming. " can you herd these skeletons like a sheep dog does to sheep. Move to the far left of the room head towards and they will go right then walk them around the ride side of the hall and eventually back to the hallway"

Chuckling ruefully at his rookie mistake (of course sling stones wouldn't have much effect on skeletons, they're nothing but air and old sticks!), Willie picks up the warhammer and stands guard next to Dame S and Bilfur, in case the skeletons make a break for it.

Can he see anything in the grotto from here? anything of interest?

"Perhaps," Dame Simonetta replies to Bilfur. "The difficulty would be getting behind them, now that we have them bottled up. Furthermore, I'd rather have them down here rather than blocking our escape".

Athena was really hoping for an heroic win, not a draw. From her persective, the undead are an abomination whose immediate destruction should be the highest priority. If the hobbets are just going to stand around and gawk at them, then Athena withdraws her divine favor and leaves the mortals to fight their own battles.

The ringing noise subsides in Dame Simonetta's head and she feels strangely alone in this world. The skeletons are 10 feet away and closing, 9 feet, 8, 7, 6... Dougal and Kiplyn are at the north end of the cavern searching for treasure, so they will be a non-factor in this next round of combat, as they cannot safely fire into melee. What's the plan, Hobbets?
Turning check to extend the effect:

2d6 = 2

Ouch. Sorry guys, the dice don't like you today. :(

When Dougal sees the skeletons can approach the rest of the party, he sneaks up on the nearest one and backstabs it.
Yeah... I need to do THAT more often.

At first sound of trouble Kiplyn would stop what he was doing and try to hide in shadows and work his way back towards the room with the others. Hope to be able to help with a surprise attack.

Wilbur has been standing by, with his shield. Now that the skeletons are coming forward, he will again bash into them with his shield, as before.

Dame Simonetta feels loss at the absence of Athena, however she has not much time to ponder the cause as she prepares to meet the advancing skeletons beside Willie and Bilfur.
I'm not sure how well we can keep them somewhat bottled up to prevent them from surrounding us, but any that do slip past this round will be prime targets for Dougal and Kiplyn next round.

Willie is ready to engage in melee with the skeletons.

"Fall back slowly,"
he suggests aloud, "and we'll hold them at the door!"
