Thanks ehiker.
I will be interstate this weekend, so only minor updates will be plausible.
For all those that were wounded (including Thick-Neck) here are your recovery dice (one die per player, two dice for Thick-Neck, in alphabetical order by character name--any extra dice discarded):
12 # d6 → [5, 6, 4, 5, 5, 5, 1, 1, 3, 2, 6, 3]

Characters (Living) in alphabetical order:
Boggs - 6hp --> 3hp remaining after combat
Dopey - 7hp --> 4hp remaining after combat
Faengol - 4hp --> uninjured
Herald - 4hp --> uninjured
Karl - 7hp --> 1hp remaining after combat
Leudigar - 7hp --> 0hp remaining after combat
<Thickneck> - ??hp --> 0hp remaining after combat
Wetzel - 7hp --> 3hp remaining after combat
Applying WOTE's rest recovery rolls in alphabetical order:
Boggs +5 = 6hp (Fully Restored)
Dopey +6 = 7hp (Fully Restored)
Karl +4 = 5hp
Leudigar +5 = 5hp
<Thickneck> +5, +1 = 6hp
Wetzel +1 = 4hp
I've updated the character sheets accordingly.

Thanks for the hit points!
This combat was a little frustrating for me, because Boggs isn't a great warrior (and he's certainly not a negotiator) so there wasn't much he could do to help his friends.
On the other hand, it took place quickly (in terms of real time) so the new PbP format speeds up the game, until Boggs can use some of his cool class abilities to the benefit of the party. From the perspective of a non-fighter, it was a good pace and level of detail.

I'm still unclear on Thick-Neck's status. Can we coup de grace him easily or is it going to be another fight if we try to kill him and he's recovered six HP?
The whole reason we extended the fight was because we felt Thick-Neck was too dangerous to live so I hope we're not in trouble by leaving him alive long enough to question.

I believe he is considered "subdued" and currently not a threat. Restrained with rope around his wrists? Something like that? Not sure. Also, not sure if he would recover hit points he we didn't allow him to "rest" - don't allow him time/ability to bind wounds, remove armour, eat some food, drink some water/wine, etc. I was just following instructions, as far as the hit point recovery goes.
As long as we plan on returning to camp, returning with a captured "leader" might net us some good graces with the camp commander or rewards in the form of some weapons and rations restocking.

Hadn't thought of this. I wonder if there's a bounty? Could be good!

Should we take some left hobgoblin ears, too, just in case?

Maybe there's a bounty on Thick-Neck?
Should we tie him up and tie to bring him back to the encampment?

That's what we are discussing directly above your post.
