Well, Belladona and Wolfsbane are very expensive!
If I could pull off a swarthy elf (what proper Elfish society wouldn't kick out a bloke with a CH 6?) I might be able to make a MU/RC combo - a dirty, secretive under-elf that uses magic and sneak to clear out vermin... Can't do it as a human per the dual class rules. But they are less restrictive for a demi.

FYI -- I have made an update to the resting rule (see
here) :
* Any rested figure regains one
normal hit (1-6 hit points).
* A rested Fighting-Man (or Ranger) can regain multiple normal hits; up to one fewer hits than he has HD; i.e., a 3 HD Myrmidon regains up to two
normal hits, a 4 HD Hero retains up to
three normal hits, etc.
* Fantastic hits are only cured in town-time, or by magic.
This means that fighters can "bounce back" from normal combat without consuming party resources, and that clerical cures, potions of healing, and the like, can be reserved for properly heroic circumstances.

Lol... What is this "potion of healing" of which you speak? You mean potion of poison, don't you?

Okay folks, I'd like to kick off the new group over the weekend 29th-30th August. That's in about 10 days, so let's get these PCs wired up...

Ways, I think I posted Gunther, correctly. Let me know if I did something wrong.

				I'll check it out eris
FYI--we already had a PC named "Gunther" in the past, so if you don't mind I'll call this new guy "Gunter" just to keep them distinct?

That's fine with me. I am going to refer to him as Gunt the Grunt. So, having the name Gunter is probably better anyway.
You know that 120 silver didn't go all that far. Gunter is broke and still not all that well equipped. He's really going to need a quick job where he can earn enough coin to buy a meal and a mug and maybe a place to rest his weary head.

With 3 charisma, I was thinking "Tha Gunt" might be appropriate

I am picturing Boggs standing outside the tavern with a hand-lettered sign: "Wrestle The Dwarf: wagers within!"
The Dwarf = Gunter
Boggs needs cash too, he could only afford a pipe but no pipeweed... sad Dwarf!
