Kiplyn turns away from the room when hears the voice from the web. "Dougal there one of them is alive still." He would carefully make his way over and try to safely cut them down. "Don't worry help is here, let's get you out of this mess."

"Oh, please! Don't hurt me Mr. Spider!" cries Robur. He is evidently too panicked to understand Kiplyn is a friendly stranger, and ends up thrashing about getting more stuck in the web. "Help! I'm going to be eaten alive! And I didn't even have my Elevenses!

"Nah, we ain't gonna eat ya," Dougal gruffs as they navigate the web to get to the bundle of webs.

"You know you're cutting into our treasure, don't you?" He pulls out his short sword and carefully removes the webbing.

Bilfur throws the torch!

I will give his torch an attack roll vs. AC9 to hit the web. The roll is natural 20, bullseye!

The spidergoat's web flares up like dry tinder! There is an intense 'woosh' of flame that quickly spreads throughout the web.

The bright light forces another wandering monster check on the Underdark Wilderness table...

Robur, Kiplyn, and Dougal hear a 'twanging' sound as the load-bearing strands of the web begin to snap like fiddle strings. Each time a strand breaks, our heroes drop several feet into the dark abyss as the web looses its structural stability. They are now 55, 60, 65, 70 feet down the Chasm, looking up at the entrance to the spidergoat's lair (at the -50' elevation mark). They see a bright light to the northeast, and then a rush of heat as the flame spreads through the web! Kiplyn and Dougal race madly to free Robur from his cocoon before they are overtaken by the flames!

Willie, Wilbur, Beppo, and Noh see a faint, fiery glow to their north, from down in the Chasm.

Willie risks some noise, running along the edge of the chasm & looking down, trying to see where Kiplyn & Dougal are.

"KIP! DOUGAL! I'm above with rope! Where are you?" he yells into the pit.

As soon as he can locate them he tosses one end of the rope, wraps his end around a handy stalagmite if he can find one, and yells for the rest of his group to help him haul them up.

Kiplyn tries to stay calm and get Robur free as quickly as possible. "This looks bad Dougal, should we run back to the little room and hope the flames don't kill us?"
