As you start to head east, Sconces stars whining, then cowers back from a section just north of the corridor you are about to enter

Wiglaff beckons his men to hide with him on the wall to the south of the corridor (across from Sconces). Then he'll peer quickly into the corridor to see what's what, and duck back.

Maloof will also move south, he will hide behind the column in the south-east corner (he will be on the south side of the column). He is expecting a secret door to open momentarily in the north-east corner of the room.

The section of wall just north of the passage slides back, and a black-robed creature with glowing red eyes rushes silently out!

Franklin whispers "good dog," steps in front of Sconces to protect him, and draws his magic sword.

Aldbane steps forward, and presents his holy symbol. If turning the creature doesn't work, he'll bring his silver hammer to bear.

Grampus readies his axe and prepares for action.
