Who is the door opener of your party?

I think it's still Rhod. He'll step up to the door, but with his off hand so he still has his sword ready. (If regular opening doesn't work, he'll use his foot if it opens away, or get help/a prybar if it opens toward us.)

The door opens onto a huge corridor leading west/east (left/right). It s 20' wide, and leads at least 30' west. To the right, it goes 20' east, then turns north, still 20' wide

In a 20' wide corridor, do you move down the middle, or tend to hug one of the two walls?

Franklin volunteers to turn invisible and (hugging the wall) peek around the corner to the north.

Meanwhile, Maloof hugs the wall and heads left. He'll search the wall at the end for a secret door.

Aldbane waits for Maloof and Franklin to return, ready to rush forward if needed.

If you head left, you are heading west. Meanwhile, Franklin is headed East. Do we have directions wrong?

Franklin east, to peek around the 90 degree corner.

Sorry, I thought it was a dead-end to the west but upon re-reading I see that I was incorrect. In that case, Maloof will remain awaiting Franklin's report.

I am on vacation without computer until Monday. I will introduce mannclay's character some time today, so we are ready to journey on with him on Monday
