We already looted these zombies the first time we killed them, didn't we? If not, I'd like to check for anything useful they might have on them.

Yes, let's check the zombies for anything interesting they may have accumulated since their initial demise, and then proceed back through the elevator room & northward.

All good on map except the north passage is 20 feet from left edge, not 20 feet from right edge

The north passageway is 30 feet to the left of where acodispo drew it, and goes 10' to a door, where you do not hear anything. You open the door onto a large room filled with green gaseous vapours
