I think the Elf thing is more subtle than that sounds Merctime... the game background is that the Elves generally keep to themselves in their wood--a little Tolkien-esque, perhaps. Whether the players choose to emphasise or maintain this Elvish characteristic is ultimately up to them, but either way it's good to bear in mind.

If you think that's bad, try competing for control of your own body all the time with your second surly head.

Psh. #SingleCraniumProblems.

Hahahaha... Yeah, I think that's a trump card you've got there ;)

Hmm... Ok, I'll kind of re-think the competition thing, Ways... Pretty sure I'll just go 'all one team' kinda thing though.

The SRD 2nd level clerical spell Delay Poison cannot retrospectively save a poisoned player, however the AD&D 2nd level clerical spell Slow Poison can if cast soon enough after the poisoning. The AD&D version also has the slowed poison deal 1 hp damage per turn to the saved player. This seems a bit fiddly so I'm going to call it a -1 hp penalty per die for the duration. This aside, Dorgan able to contribute to regular activities, albeit gingerly.

Shall we now finalise the treasure division and XP hauls?

I think we've had enough time for people to chime in. I'll post an update in a bit with distribution of the shares.

Speak up soon or be content with what you get.

Think we still have one unclaimed 1200xp share; I'll try and figure out who it should go to, then assign the rest to the remaining characters according to time in group.

While I definitely understand the reasoning, and the absolute intelligence, of allowing brand-new characters to receive treasure/xp on adventures they were brought into right at the very end (but didn't fully participate in, if at all), and respect the desire to level them up so they can be more effective, I still have some hesitation regarding Dhren.

As a player, I feel I should earn my keep with my character to gain xp/treasure. It just boils down to that. For that reason, please, people... If Dhren gains anything, let his gain be the least from everyone as that is all I've been able to actually produce in the game. I'll have plenty of time to gain xp and treasure as I adventure with you guys :)

Just my 2 cp.

However, he can carry for the group quite a bit, as his load is very light with no armor and little gear. So he can pack mule for the team.

Josiane the Saint: 1 Share @ 1500xp - Necklace (1500xp)
Wen the Pale: 1 Share @ 1200xp - Partial Necklace (1200xp)
Desmond Double Trouble: 1 Share @ 1200xp - Partial Necklace (1200xp)
Dorgan the Rock: 1 Share @ 1200xp - Partial Necklace (1200xp)
Armando: 1 Share @ 1200xp - Partial Necklace (1200xp)
Highbough the Grey Elf: 1 Share @ 941xp - Necklace (700xp), 148cp (25xp), 216sp (216xp)
Dieter Ogreslayer: 1 Share @ 941xp - 100gp (600xp), 1 gem (100xp), 241sp (241xp)
Olaf Sharp Eyes: 1 Share @ 941xp - 100gp (600xp), 1 gem (100xp), 241sp (241xp)
Torben: 1 Share @ 941xp - 100gp (600xp), 1 gem (100xp), 241sp (241xp)
Helmut: 1 Share @ 941xp - 100gp (600xp), 1 silver bowl (100xp), 241sp (241xp)
Ashtad: 1 Share @ 941xp - 100gp (600xp), 1 silver cage (50xp), 291sp (291xp)

Ummm... so I was going off of the count of 11 when calculating all of this. But that leaves off The Gustave and Dhren. Is that what you had in mind, Sully? Or who were the characters in your 11?

And what of Ulric (N), Beringar (L), and Valorn (L)?

A zero-share is something Ulric and Beringar will view dimly (half shares for NPCs is considered "acceptable"--i.e., I won't need to roll a reaction check).

Valorn (L)--as an NPC--would also expect a half-share but since Helmut, Ashtad, Valron and Hiridhren are all effectively "new guys", we could assume they're half-shares anyway, so therefore Valorn would be "content" with a half of his theoretical half share--i.e., a quarter share.

Or, make life simple--what about a half share for Ulric and Beringar, and a quarter share for Helumt, Ashtad, Valorn and Hiridren. Total two shares between six PCs?

Up to you.

edit: and of course Gustave(?), Dieter, Olaf, Highbough, Torben, Wen, Beringar, and Valorn are presently MIA.

I'm in favor of Dhren getting a full share. Torben is a NPC at this point so I didn't count him in my roster.

I'm ok with NPCs getting a half share as long as they are going to remain with the party and be useful. I don't want to give NPCs a half share and then have them walk off and disappear because their owners have abandoned the game (which is what I suspect happened to Torben, Beringar, and Valorn). If denying them a share means we risk a reaction roll which potentially results in them walking off, so be it. I'm fine with that.

Dorgan is willing to forego his share of the necklace XP now as long as he gets his full share down the line in more fungible treasure (assuming he lives to see that future date). This means I'm in favor of letting one PC collect full XP for the necklace while others get nothing but a IOU. If others don't like this idea, we can vote on it.

I don't think Torben is a NPC at this point. He said he was busy but he is still logging in.
