All the pages have drawings of the same woman, some portrait, some full body, some upper torso, and each one id unfinished - an ear missing on this one, no nose on that one, etc

After nothing is heard, the door is opened onto a 30' square room, centered on the door, with no visible exits. This room is decorated like the inside of an Arabian tent. The beautiful fabrics used as decoration each have their own exotic scent, as if someone had been collecting perfumes from all around the world and then sprayed them randomly everywhere. On the floor are several chairs, an empty table, and a closed chest in the SE corner

Are the fabrics hanging like tapestries, covering the walls? Or are some of the walls visible?

Covering the walls. They billow outwards to really give the feel of a tent
