Walfried strides across the room purposefully and into barges the door with his mailed shoulder, bursting it inward! Within lies another darkened chamber of approximately the same 30x40ft dimensions. Thankfully, it appears to be unoccupied... dimly, another door is visible opposite.
Door check 1d6=6!

What now?

Chiron hefts his lantern and moves into the chamber.

Anyone want to check this door out?

Brother Walfried moves carefully into the new chamber and inspects it visually in the light of Chiron's lantern, paying special attention to the floor & ceiling.

Chiron, Walfried, Orim and Lemmi move cautiously into the new room, looking all about.

The floor is notably uneven, for many of the flag stones have been disturbed or displaced. A number of shallow holes have been dug, the displaced earth laying in minor piles.

Orim navigates a route through the debris to listen at the opposite door... but he can't make out a sound.
Listening check 1d6=?

Brother Walfried takes a closer look at the small excavations. He kicks a dirt pile apart with the toe of his sturdy boot, & squints at it, trying to discern any difference in the color & consistency between the surface dirt and the dirt inside the pile. If the exterior of the pile shows some sign of age, it would indicate it's been a long time since the pile was made. Of course, dirt is not precisely is area of expertise.

Morin enters the room with the others and examines the holes with Brother Walfried.

Lemmi tuts at the crude, fumbling efforts of the fighting man at the door, waits until he has the expected null response, then moves to assess the true situation properly herself
