Things Dorgan was wearing or carrying outside of his sack:
Chainmail
Helmet
Shield, Heavy
Mads' Cold Iron Axe
Dagger (2)
Grumolg's "letter-opener" dagger
Sling
Belt pouch (for sling stones)
Oiled Cloak
Things in Dorgan's sack we might assume survived the fire:
Grappling Hook
Iron Spikes (12)
Whetstone
Things that are likely burned to ashes:
Vial of poison(?)
60' Rope (hemp)
Chalk (24)
Sack (2, one empty and one containing his possessions)
Outfit of clothing (1)
Bedroll
Garlic (1 bud)
Waterskin
Tobacco box
Elvish waybread (x21)
Things that might have made it but I'm not sure:
Spade
Tinderbox
Grumolg's purse
Hip flask
Things that Dorgan probably didn't even bring from the Elf haven because he couldn't carry them:
Shield, Light (formerly Rufus')
Does that seem reasonable?

That's great, thanks sully.
I rolled a saving throw for the poison 1d20=8; potions need a 16+ so it didn't survive.
The spade's handle was likely timber, so that would have burned, as would all the tinder in the tinderbox, and the soft leather of Grumolg's purse.
I rolled another saving throw for the hip flask 1d20=19, so it's of a tough, dwarf make, and survived.

Nope! Olaf had to turn that over to the Sisters of Mercy as hostage against us clearing this Abbey and/or returning with it's treasures. He sure would like it back...and to regain all his lost HP.

The best odds are that a sword will be lawful... (the primary motivation for fighters to choose that alignment!)

That makes the Neutral ones all the more sweeter, though!

Hmmm...

The twisted runes graven upon the hilt tug at a long buried memory... the sorry tale of the so called Immortal Smith who was lured into eternal toil in the Underworld, to fashion arms for the broiling legions of Hell. Could this be one such weapon? It seems unlikely... but this small rune here looks to be "Vwielund" in the Infernal script, or there abouts. Was that not said to be the Smith's mortal name?
Names and places bounce around the old Elf's head... Alcazar 47... Alacazar 74... which
was it..?
