Alas,
Pelenwin is too busy licking the spilled juices from the floor to think of anything else...

Gustave and
Wibert have forgotten their light bearing duties in favour of feasting.
Wibert's torch sputters out, spent and exhausted upon the floor. And
Gustave's lantern (1d6=1!) lands sideways, cracking the glass shutters and spilling the remaining fuel over the floor! The resulting pool of oil flares up brightly, illuminating the room much better than before -- but shortly all the oil will be consumed and the room cast into utter darkness.
In the few moments allowed him,
Highbough examines the strange plant matter above. It doesn't seem to have any feature resembling a maw... indeed it looks far more plant-like than animal. It seems completely oblivious to the ruckus going on below it...

Presumably the door you entered by, and not the door opposite?
Ulric reaches up toward a second fruit with his out-stretched sword, but he cannot put himself in a favourable position for all his wrestling fellows directly beneath the tree, and also the spill of burning lantern fuel.
(Dexterity check 1d6=4) alas,
Ulric does not reach another fruit.

By this time, all those whose tongues have touched the juice of the glorious fruit are swooning in divine pleasure at the impossibly delicious taste. Their eyes roll up into their heads, and one by one they collapse, utterly comatose beneath the heavenly plant, a huge smile stretched over their faces.
Ulric, Dieter and Highbough look on in horror.
What now?

Ulric rushes over to the fallen lantern in an effort to save any remaining oil inside and get it lit again.
"Dieter, Highbough. Do either of you have any oil?"
Ulric then remembers that Gustave had another flask on hand. He goes through the unconscious man's pack to find the extra oil. If Ulric can get the lantern going again, he will grab the other halfling by the collar and drag him out the open door back into the corridor.
"We should have kept going the way we were, clean floor or not. That draft came from somewhere and it was not here."

Highbough rummages through his pack to find a small candle the size of his finger, and quickly gets it lit in the last of the dying flame of
Gustave's spilled lantern oil.

Meanwhile Dieter strides into the pack of lunatics and grabs the unconscious Desmond by his shirt-front and hauls him out single armed, and heads for the rapidly darkening door frame.
By the time he is half-way there the room has become very quiet. All those who touched the juice to their lips are lying silent upon the floor, apparently in a deep, peaceful sleep. Desmond, however, is beginning to tremble in his slumber...

Ulric deftly rights Gustave's burning lantern with his boot as soon as the flames die down to something manageable. There is scarcely any fuel left to the blackened thing, and very soon it will be spent altogether.
Very fortunately, Ulric recalls that Gustave carried a spare flask of lantern fuel on his person, and is quick to retrieve it... however, getting it into the hot, smouldering remains of the spilled lantern will be something of a challenge...
