Dougal frowns a second, then shrugs his shoulders and says, "Ah, well. Probably for the best, isn't it? Let's move on and see what's in the gray ooze room... Carefully now."
If nobody else choses to, Dougal will lead south into Room 6...

Bilfur looks at the coins and does help load them into the sack and follows the others to the ooze room. The murial is not interesting to him

No treasure is found in the gray ooze room (area 6). There are unexplored tunnels to the west and east.

"Shall we go west and see if we can connect back to the lake?"
Willie offers up the sacks to store this treasure if necessary (iirc he has 2 large and 2 small).

Dougal likes this reasoning and agrees with going west.
Dougal already dropped two large sacks by the coins before he went to examine the relief, so I think we just need someone to account for the small sack that is needed.

Kiplyn would have produced a small sack and filled it up. Perhaps grumbling a little as he adjusts to the extra burden. "Just think, soon it will be time for a snack..."

The Dame leads the way west.

Turn 20
The western tunnel connects to the eastern end of the "beach" (Area 7).
No monsters are encountered, and there isn't any treasure strewn about on the gravely beach area.

Kiplyn looks out across the water. "Well this is a deadend. Back to the other tunnel?"

Kiplyn speaks for everyone when he suggests backtracking to explore the eastern tunnel. It leads to an underground river flowing sluggishly from east to west. Any hypothetical attempt to follow the river upstream (and off the map to the east) is blocked by a grate of thick metal bars. On this metal grate are posted large warning signs: the international cartoon stick figures that symbolize 'no swimming' and 'no boating.' Also there is a sign in Common (English) that reads "Adventure Club Dungeon: Out Of Bounds."
Kiplyn strongly suspects that this underground river feeds into the large body of water to the west, but it is impossible to verify this water connection, given the limitations of 30' radius lantern light, and without getting his feet wet.
A curious hobbet might wonder: Was this grate built to keep us
in, or to keep something else
out?
