FYI -- I spent some time yesterday working on the encumbrance of normal items.
I've updated my epic Hinterlands spreadsheet so that it will calculate everyone's movement rate based on race and what is carried.

The good news is that many items will appear to get lighter due to finer-grained measurements.

The bad news is that some players are going to be over-burdened regardless. You'll have my full report on this in the next day or so :)

Indeed. Consider me entertained!

While reading the latest update, a thought struck me. I wonder if the robed ones may actually be the nuns from the city... If they are, well, that's war, eh?

Yeah, I wondered that, too. I guess we'll be in deep doo-doo if they were...<sigh>...

Happy Easter everyone!

I was trying very hard not to consider that option...

Black robes, man! That's the universal sign for "Hail Satan!"

Indeed, the nuns wear white habits...

http://forum.immersiveink.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=68

"When the scores (it seems) of nuns in their white habits..."

The people we stumbled across when we first entered the abbey were wearing simple brown robes with a white-trimmed habit (the habit being the entire outfit a nun wears, not just the headdress)...

http://forum.immersiveink.com/viewtopic ... 475#p12475

"The sister wears a long brown robe with white trimmed habit."

So I don't think the issue is that the nuns from Ket have come to the abbey and we're busy slaying them as we try to take control of the abbey to eventually pass back to the nuns from Ket. As much as I would enjoy the irony, I'd rather not have Desmond running around shooting nuns with arrows...

Yes, I doubt that the nuns that had to abandon the abbey due to werewolves, sorcerers, and other demonic entities (?) would be able to make it past the goblin armies and dispatch the forces they initially ran away from -- all in the span of a few weeks time.

The wolves, the veil, and other signs point that we're in for a fight.

If the black-robes are actually the nuns from the city, at least only Dieter has killed any of them. The rest of you have clean hands. (They can't be mad at you for defending yourselves against wolves.)
